Fiorentina will be without midfielder Francesco Della Rocca for at least a month after he underwent surgery for a hernia.
The 24-year-old former Bologna and Palermo man went under the knife this afternoon.
Viola medical staff confirmed Della Rocca will rest for a week, then begin a rehabilitation programme with the aim of a complete recovery within four weeks.
Attempt for Rossi in January?
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, during the Winter transfer window, Fiorentina could make an attempt for Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi, actually injured.
